Clearance NZ Native shrubs.   They are well grown plants surplus to requirements.  They will make a stunning native garden, hedge, shrubbery, or shelter belt and are tough enough to survive most conditions.   

This pack is made up as follows:

• 10x Silver Mountain Heather - Ozothamnus leptophyllus - An upright, evergreen, bushy heather like shrub, with a very distinctive and different form. The leaves are very small, coloured light blue to silver in colder climates. Produces clusters of white flowers in spring-summer that can be quite showy. A very tough alpine shrub, thriving in extreme cold, drought and very windy situations.   Also useful for any dry difficult situation such as mountain or coastal.   Mature height 2m x Width 1m.

• 10x Cabbage Tree - Cordyline Australis - A 'must have' NZ Tree with very distincitive strap like leaves, upright in the centre and drooping on the outside, formed into unusual heads on crooked branches.  Very hardy native tree suitable for most conditions.  Tolerant of wind, full sun and drought, wet/swampy conditions, frost once established.  Excellent shelter in windswept, coastal or alpine areas (mix with flaxes).  Mature Height 3-5m

• 10x Hebe Odora - Rounded alpine shrub with dark glossy green leaves similar to box hedge. White flowers from spring to autumn. Suitable low hedge. Prefers good drainage but will tolerate damp conditions in cool climates. Mature Height 80cm x Width 80cm.   These are seconds, variable in size and  quite mishapen, but good healthy plants at a bargain price. 

• 10x South Island Toetoe - Cortaderia Richardii - Large growing and distinctive grass that forms a large clump of tough foliage and majestic flower spikes up to 3m tall. Very tough, hardy and fast growing withstanding strong winds, cold conditions, drought and coastal conditions.   Height 1.5m x width 1.5m  (these are big seconds too big for their 4cm pots)

• 10x Hebe Red Edge - A beautiful compact and interesting hebe, forming a neat tight smaller sized bun shaped bush.   Blue green foliage with distinctive red edged leaves.   Produces masses of smaller mauve flowers.   Derived from alpine hebe, so is very hardy withstanding dry, cold and windy conditions.   Excellent for mass planting and very popular for scree gardens.   Mature height 40cm x width 80cm.
