Cortaderia Richardii - South Island Toetoe - Large growing and distinctive grass.   Forms a large clump of tough foliage and majestic flower spikes up to 3m tall. Very tough, hardy and fast growing withstanding strong winds, cold conditions, drought and coastal conditions.   Excellent low growing shelter.    Height 1.5m x width 1.5m

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE NON NATIVE "PAMPAS GRASS" Also often referred to as Toi Toi, Pampas is a huge growing unpleasantinvasive plant, unlike the native ToeToe which is very nice by comparison.
