Corokia Yellow Wonder
Corokia Yellow Wonder is a medium sized native shrub with interesting colour and form. It is very tough and hardy, making it particularly suitable for conditions ranging from coast to alpine. The family of Corokia have the same distinctive look with all varieties having variations on silvery colouring, and a wirey look. Yellow Wonder has silvery green leaves contrasting with dark stems.
Corokia Yellow Wonder becomes covered in small bright yellow star shaped flowers in summer. These put on a spectacular display of colour and add interest, brightening up the shrubbery beautifully. The flowers are plentiful and help the environment by feeding bees.
Following flowering, Corokia Yellow Wonder produces masses of yellow-orange berries, again adding colour and interest to the bush. Native birds love feeding on these berries, which will contribute to attracting and retaining native birds in your garden.
