These smaller natives have been chosen specifically for urban gardens or around the farm house.   They are compact, attractive, and tough.    Create the wow factor in your garden by mass planting.   These compact and low growing varieties are also low maintenance, because weekends are too short to spend pruning shrubs ;).

 

The pack is made as follows:

  • 10x Libertia Grandiflora - Tukauki or Mikoikoi is a flowering plant in the native 'NZ Iris' family. It is a large growing clump-forming herbaceous perennial with broad,leathery leaves and large white flowers in spring, followed by ornamental seed capsules. Prefers a sunny, sheltered location. Mature Height 90cm x Width 60cm.

  • 10x Coin Leaved Daisy Bush - Olearia Nummularifolia - A very different tree daisy that dense twiggy growth and small spoon shaped yellowish green leaves, with buff undersides. It is a tough subalpine shrub, happy in dry open situations, perfect for an interesting low maintenance tough hedge. Mature h 1.5 m x w 1m
  • 10x Coprosma 'Flat Freddy' - This ground cover shrub is unique in that it is one of the most flat growing shrubs available.     Has attractive tiny leaves brown-green in colour.   This is hardy ground cover shrub that does well in most situations including alpine, coast, dry, around rocks and concrete.  The trailing branches form a dense shrubby ground cover that looks fantastic spilling over rocks or banks.   Great for birds, it has produces blue berries in Autumn.    Mature Height 20cm x Width 1.5m.

  • 10x Coprosma 'Taiko' - Popular hardy ground cover shrub with trailing branches that form a dense shrubby ground cover.   Leaves are a coloured from dark green to almost black depending on season and conditions.   It has blue berries in Autumn.   This is a hardy vigourous ground cover perfect for rockeries, banks, hillsides.  It is perfect for hard landscapes with a lot of concrete, rock or stones.  Ideal shrubby ground cover for harsh conditons.    Mature Height 50cm x Width 1.5m.

  • 10x NZ Renga Lily - Arthropodium Cirratum -  A lovely herbacous native plant that forms large clumps of broad, soft, medium-green, arching foliage. Bears graceful, airy sprays of lovely white star-shaped flowers on 1m stems from spring to mid-summer. Great for bees.   Spectacular mass planted, and useful for quickly and solidly filling a large area with lush foliage and flowers.   Tolerates coastal winds.   Fine with light frosts, and colder climates will die off in winter and come back in spring.    Mature height 1m x width 1m.
