The Compact Hebe Combo brings together five hardy, low-growing New Zealand hebes selected for their contrasting foliage, compact forms and ability to perform with minimal fuss. With shades ranging from fresh green through silvery blue-grey and glaucous blue-green, the mix creates a clean, contemporary look while remaining naturally informal. These tough evergreen shrubs are particularly useful for mass planting, borders, banks, rock gardens and modern low-maintenance landscapes, and are well suited to challenging conditions including cold, wind, exposed alpine environments and many coastal situations. Their varied spreading and rounded habits create year-round structure, with seasonal flowers adding an extra layer of interest.

• 20x Hebe pauciramosa - A beautiful compact NZ native shrub prized for its tight growth habit and attractive blue-grey foliage. Naturally found in alpine and subalpine regions, it forms a dense rounded mound that provides year-round structure and texture. In summer, the plant is covered with masses of small white flowers, making it an outstanding choice for rock gardens, borders, containers, and low-maintenance native landscapes.  Mature Height 50cm x Width 60cm

• 20x Hebe Venustula - A neat, rounded evergreen shrub with graceful arching branches and glossy yellow-green foliage. Hebe (Veronica) venustula is both elegant and extremely hardy, producing soft white to lilac-white flowers in summer. It is highly tolerant of harsh conditions from coastal winds to alpine frosts, making it a versatile choice for challenging sites.  Mature Height 80cm x Wdith 80cm

• 20x Hebe glaucophylla – Hebe glaucophylla – A distinctive hardy native hebe valued for its attractive glaucous blue-grey foliage, giving excellent year-round colour and contrast. Its compact bushy habit and tolerance of cold and exposed conditions make it particularly useful for rock gardens, borders and tough low-maintenance landscapes. Height: 60cm × Width: 80cm.

• 20x Hebe fruticeti – Hebe fruticeti – A tough NZ native hebe with small evergreen foliage and a naturally bushy, somewhat irregular growth habit. Well suited to colder, exposed and challenging sites, where it provides dependable year-round structure while retaining an informal natural appearance. Height: 1m × Width: 1m.
• 20x Hebe subalpina – Hebe subalpina – A very hardy native hebe with dense green foliage and masses of attractive white flowers. Naturally suited to cool, exposed and mountainous environments, it is an excellent choice for alpine-style gardens, difficult sites and mixed native plantings where toughness and seasonal flowering are required. Height: 1m × Width: 1m.

Together, the five varieties create a collection that combines toughness with a modern, cohesive appearance.
