Natives for Wet, Poor Draining Soil

Sites with heavy, waterlogged, or poorly draining soils need plants that can cope with constant moisture and occasional flooding. Our selection of NZ native plants for wet sites thrives in damp conditions, stabilising soil while adding texture and greenery to challenging spots. These hardy, resilient species provide evergreen structure, habitat for wildlife, and year-round interest, making them perfect for gullies, swales, or low-lying garden areas.
