A versatile collection of tough, easy-care NZ native hebes selected for their resilience, attractive foliage and reliable flowering. The Hardy Hebe Combo combines five different varieties with a mix of deep green, blue-grey and silver foliage, complemented by white and mauve-purple flowers through the warmer months. All are naturally compact shrubs, but with enough variation in form, colour and texture to create an interesting mixed planting rather than a uniform mass.

The pack is made up of a mixture as follows:

• 10x Hebe Glaucophylla – A distinctive compact native hebe valued for its attractive blue-grey to glaucous foliage, which provides excellent year-round colour and contrast. In flowering season it produces clusters of delicate white flowers above the foliage, making an attractive combination with darker green hebes. Naturally dense and rounded, and particularly useful for exposed, cold and dry gardens. Mature Height 60cm x Width 80cm.
• 10x Willow-leaved Hebe – Hebe salicifolia – A larger, vigorous native hebe with long, narrow willow-like green leaves and a naturally upright, somewhat informal habit. One of its standout features is its generous flowering, producing numerous elongated spikes of white to pale lilac flowers that can cover the outer growth and are highly attractive to pollinating insects. An excellent background shrub where additional height is wanted. Mature Height 2m x Width 1.5m.
• 10x Hebe Fruticeti – A hardy alpine hebe with a naturally rounded, compact form and fresh deep-green foliage. In spring it produces a beautiful flush of white flowers that stand clearly above the foliage. Exceptionally tough and well suited to cold, exposed, coastal and drought-prone environments, making it a reliable flowering shrub for difficult sites. Mature Height 60cm x Width 60cm.
• 10x Hebe Spring Monarch – A particularly attractive flowering hebe forming a dense, rounded evergreen shrub with glossy green foliage and contrasting reddish young stems. Its main feature is the profusion of soft pale lilac to almost white flowers produced in clustered sprays, creating an impressive spring display and providing a useful nectar source for visiting insects. Mature Height 1m x Width 1m.
• 10x Hebe Laingii – An attractive native hebe with compact evergreen foliage and a naturally tidy but slightly informal branching habit. It produces abundant clusters of white to softly tinted flowers, adding another layer of flowering interest to mixed native plantings.
