This isn’t your average plant pack. It’s a celebration of the twisted trunks, windswept forms, and bold textures that thrive in our harshest landscapes – and look incredible doing it.

A selection of the toughest natives around, chosen for their toughness and ability to withstand most conditons.   Not only is this selection tough as nails, it will also look amazing with the very strong textures, colours and forms that come from being such tough plants.   Contains several 'twisted' varieties of divaricating shrubs that are trending now in designer gardens.

These plants are essentials for any alpine garden, not only for survival but to maintain the uniqueness of our alpine environment.   Also very suitable for coastal, cold, windy, poor soil and dry gardens.   Very suitable for modern landscapes.

The pack is made as follows:

• 5x Coprosma propinqua- A versatile, hardy native shrub or small tree that grows naturally in a wide range of habitats across New Zealand, including coastal areas, lowland forests, and scrublands. Known for its dense, bushy habit and glossy, dark green foliage, it is often used for hedging, shelter planting, and native restoration projects. The plant produces small fragrant flowers followed by attractive berries that provide food for native birds, making it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens.  Mature Height 2m x Width 1m
• 5x Frosted Chocolate Corokia – Corokia ‘Frosted Chocolate’ – A hardy, characterful shrub with fine interlacing branches and distinctive bronze-chocolate foliage. Small yellow flowers provide seasonal interest, while its naturally twiggy form gives the planting a rugged, informal appearance. Height 2 m × Width 1.5 m.
• 5x Golden Tree Daisy – Olearia solandri – A fast-growing, upright native shrub with fine green-gold foliage. Particularly useful for shelter and screening in dry, exposed and windy situations, producing masses of small, vanilla-scented white flowers in late summer. Height 3 m × Width 2 m.
• 5x Corokia ‘Geenty’s Green’ - A dense, hardy evergreen Corokia with rich green foliage carried on the characteristic fine, interlacing branches of the genus. In season it produces numerous small, star-shaped yellow flowers, providing a delicate flowering display amongst the foliage. Flowers are followed by colourful fruit, adding another season of interest and providing a potential food source for visiting birds. Excellent as a free-growing shrub or clipped into a dense native hedge. Mature Height 2 m × Width 1.5 m

• 5x Broadleaf - Grisilinea littoralis - A classic, fast-establishing New Zealand native for neat, year-round hedging and coastal shelter. Griselinia littoralis has glossy, apple-green leaves, forms a dense screen with regular trimming, and tolerates wind and salt spray—ideal for coastal and urban gardens alike.  Mature Height 3m x Width 2m
